I am a co-founder and CPO for the startup called NDM Global and it's main product DocQ, check it out!

I am a professor at the Computer Science Department of the University of Passo Fundo. My focus is on computer networks and on information security and data privacy. In fact, I'm actually certified on Information Management Foundations by EXIN.

In 2014 I received a PhD degree from the University of Twente for my thesis Measurement-Based Link Dimensioning for the Future Internet. After that I worked as a postdoctoral researcher within the chair of Design and Analysis of Communication Systems of the University of Twente, being responsible for the SAND and DAS research projects.

I have been around a bit, contributing to research at the Information Sciences Institute of the University of Southern California, where I spent some time as a visiting researcher between 2015 and 2016, hosted by professor John Heidemann. In 2015 I also spent some time as a visiting professor at the IP Networking Lab of the Université Catholique de Louvain, hosted by professor Ramin Sadre. In 2017, I worked as research engineer at the SIDN Labs, the R&D division of the .nl domain registrar.

Much earlier in my life, back in 2010, I received a MSc degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco, where I worked as a Research Assistant within the Networking and Telecommunications Research Group. And before that, in 2007, I received my BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Passo Fundo, in Brazil.

On another note, I am a RIPE Atlas ambassador, helping to build "the largest Internet measurement network ever made".
